HOMEOPATHY IN THE HISTORY OF MEDICINE
Basic principles

Hahnemann's "new medicine", as the public opinion called it, was based on several new principles presented in the "Essay on a New Principle…" and extensively developed in the Organon starting in 1810.

Nux vomica, one of 1200 plant strains in homeopathy

In these works Hahnemann set forth

- the bases for determining the medicine according to the law of similars;
- the selection of the dilution :
Hahnemannian potentization.

Today, backed by Hahnemann's legacy, homeopathy is based on the wealth of 200 years of practice and medical evolution.
