Training of veterinarians
|
In many countries, veterinarians may undergo general training in homeopathy, by entering
FMC intended for doctors or pharmacists, or in training centres reserved for veterinarians.
In Germany as well as in the United States, Brazil or Slovakia, schools of homeopathy are specially reserved for veterinarians.
In France, homeopathy training is provided in the veterinary colleges as well as in the chambers of agriculture and the biological breeding industry.
Homeopathic therapeutics is part of the university training for
veterinary students. It is taught at Ecole nationale vétérinaire de Lyon
(2ème year) and Nantes (4ème year). Moreover, several private centres dprovide training in homeopathy for veterinarians with more or less long cycles of study.
As regards the training of farmers, under the impetus of certain agencies (farmers groups, rural veterinarians, Professional Farm Training Centres)
open houses
are organised as well as training cycles in the practice of homeopathic therapeutics for breeders.
International agencies
On the international level, homeopath veterinarians are generally affiliated with two recognised agencies
that let them match their experiences and keep informed of the evolution of the research work:
